A jury of 11 professionals and local politicians has chosen LOLA landscape architects and Maxwan urbanists as one of the 15 teams to continue into the second round of the prize competition for Hannovers city ring.

The city of Hannover has organized the design competition 'Hannover City 2020+' in preparation of its role as cultural capital of the world in 2011. 30 national and international teams were selected to make a first proposal, of which now 15 remain.

In our entry 'Hannover Necklace' LOLA and Maxwan propose a vivid parklike riverside, crossed by a varied typology of urban connections, bringing city, people and park together in one structure.
